A picture of city lights from space inspired Earth Lights. The model for this picture uses a sphere, a light, and a plane for the background stars. I used a multi layered texture for the oceans, land, city lights, and clouds. The high resolution textures came from a NASA site. A lens flare effect locates the sun in the picture. I intended to place the moon in the picture as a reflection in an ocean. The reflection was too small.
