On this hike I visited scenic places and discovered interesting rock formations and items. First I went to this place.

The sun was perfect for a sparkling waterfall. I stood in its rain. The pool is one or one-and-one-half feet deep and the falls are around 35 feet tall.

This is a sun bleached millipede shell.

These are probably fossils. The segmented one is about five inches long and the spirals are about one-and-one-quarter inches across.

These flowers grew where there were ashes. This area had burned and the flowers grew all over the hillside. I smelled a nice fragrance here and I think it was the flowers.

There are at least an acre of these rocks. I came into the area from above and didn’t notice the formations until I was standing on a more solid part of the rocks. I backtracked carefully to avoid breaking anything. The openings are from a few inches to around two feet tall.

This rock is pitted like this all over. I wonder if it might be a meteorite? I think that a meteorite would have the leading side more melted or different than the pitted surface. It is about seven to nine inches across.
