I won a Speed Modeling Contest with Extra Dimensional Container. The theme was Container. My design is a high tech, bigger inside than outside, container. It also has a force field that holds the items.

The idea is based on the flat space compressed dimension storage from the movie Ultraviolet.

The items are just mysterious. Shown inactive and activated they apparently do something. The gold ball has a light in it while the purple ball has a negative light (shines darkness) for a surreal effect. When I have time (riiiight) I might make a movie of the case opening or closing.

The models are simple as shown in the wire frame. The shaders or textures give this picture its effect. I use trueSpace’s glow shader on a reshaped cylinder for the force field and for the glow effect for the balls. The activated infinity symbol has a fractal image for a texture.
