This is a walk on West Side Road. I looked for wild turkeys. None were seen but I did see tracks.

I drove a short distance up the road until the snow, mud, and ice were too slick to go farther. Then I walked for an hour or two.

Many tracks could be seen in the snow but I could not identify most of them. I think some patterns were made by more than one footstep.

I went off of the road and saw this tree. The roots are interesting.

Then I walked up a slope to see if there was a good view from there. The road was there. There was a good view of White Sands and Sierra Blanca.

I headed back.

Driving back I saw deer near some houses. They just moved a little off of the road when I stopped to take a picture.
