Here is a wire-frame of a tube. Both original and improved versions are shown. The flower’s are also shown before and after applying a texture.

I used a Geometry Paint tool to spread copies of the tubes on the main parts in trueSpace. Each tube had a cube in the end as a place holder for the flowers. Find-and-replace on the flowers and cubes placed them in the tubes.
